We stayed here one night on our way through Campbellton to return home. It's a new facility (three years about), and all the buildings are in excellent shape. Bathrooms cleanest we've ever seen. A nice view of the river with a path made to walk the dog easily along the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not eat at the restaurant (right there on the premises), but took a menu to check it out. It looked very good, but no vegan options for me. We like privacy, and these sites are all out in the open, so that's the reason for a four instead of a five. We would definitely stop here again.
Hardly a deep woods experience but high and dry and handy to a local pub.
Spacious campsites, beautiful water view, modern and clean bathrooms with shower and laundry facilities. WiFi is excellent and free. The big downside is that there isn't a tree to be found so there's no shade.
The bathrooms are the cleanest i habe ever seen in a campground and the view of the water is georgeous. The ground is a short walking distance from town.
One of the nicest campgrounds we stayed at during our trip to the east coast in 2016.Even though there are not many trees around it is simply a peaceful, beautiful campground. Definitely a place for seniors compared to families with small children. And the view of the river is one of the most relaxing sight at the end of the day.
